About Interlaken NJ
Interlaken is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Its estimated population is 821 people. Interlaken was formed as a borough in 1922 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. It is a dry town where alcohol cannot be sold. The borough was named after Interlaken a peninsula in Switzerland that is situated between two lakes. Interlaken still remains entirely residential as was intended by its developers. The borough of Interlaken is bordered by the Monmouth County communities of Allenhurst, Asbury Park, Loch Arbour and Ocean Township.
