About Millstone NJ
Millstone is a township located in Monmouth County, New Jersey. As of a 2018 census its estimated population is 10,453 people. Millstone was formed as a township in 1844 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. Its name comes from the Millstone River, whose name in turn comes from an incident where a millstone was dropped into it. Millstone borders the Monmouth County municipalities of Freehold, Manalapan, Roosevelt and Upper Freehold.
