About Eatontown NJ
Eatontown is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey. Its estimated population is 12,722 people. Eatontown Township was incorporated in 1873 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. It was reincorporated as a borough in 1926 and named Eatontown. The name Eatontown comes from Thomas Eaton, an early settler who built a mill ca. 1670. The borough is bordered by the Monmouth County towns of Shrewsbury to the north, Oceanport to the northeast, West Long Branch to the east, Ocean Township to the south, and Tinton Falls to the west.
