About Red Bank NJ
Red Bank is a borough in Monmouth County, New Jersey. As of a 2018 census its estimated population is 12,048 people. Red Bank is located on the Navesink River, which was the area’s original transport route to the Atlantic Ocean and other ports. It was incorporated as a borough in 1908 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. The name Red Bank is from the red soil found along the Navesink River. Red Bank is bordered by the Monmouth County towns of Fair Haven, Little Silver, Middletown, Shrewsbury and Tinton Falls.
