About Wall NJ | Wall Township NJ

Wall Township is a township located in Monmouth County, New Jersey. As of a 2018 census its estimated population is 25,705 people. It was incorporated as a township in 1851 by an act of the New Jersey Legislature. Wall Township was named for General Garrett D. Wall, a lawyer who commanded a Trenton volunteer company during the war of 1812. He also served as clerk to the New Jersey Supreme Court, and as Quartermaster General of the state, and as a Senator from 1835 to 1841. Wall Township is bordered by the Monmouth County municipalities of Belmar, Brielle, Colts Neck, Howell, Lake Como, Manasquan, Neptune Township, Sea Girt, Spring Lake, Spring Lake Heights and Tinton Falls.
